CONCERT+OPENING: “Studies in Automation: Guitar Quartet” by Konrad Kaczmarek

The premiere concert of “Studies in Automation: Guitar Quartet” by Konrad Kaczmarek, composer, instrument designer, and Yale Associate Professor (Adjunct) of Music will launch the Spring 2024 CCAM Ultra Space Symposium: Adaptation/s!

The evening will include a symposium welcome by Dana Karwas, CCAM Director and Critic, Yale School of Architecture, as well as the launch of the new CCAM ISOVIST gallery, with a presentation of the works in its first show “Dimensions of Digitalization,” curated by Karwas and Ben Simon, CCAM Computer Art Fellow. We’ll also reveal the Spring 2023 CCAM Ultra Space Printed Volume, with remarks by Lauren Dubowski, CCAM Assistant Director.

Admission Information

The symposium is free and open to the public. All events will take place at CCAM (149 York Street, New Haven, CT 06511). No advance registration is required, but RSVP is encouraged. Seating will be first-come, first-served, and room capacity limits will apply.
